What are the HTB Tips?
Through out the knowledge base you can find interesting articles and code snippets that are directly (or indirectly) related to some of the boxes from HackTheBox. These articles contain code snippets, exploits and other relevant information regarding the aforementioned boxes as stated at the end of each article.
What about spoilers?
The articles which include information directly relevant to a box which is not yet retired do not state in which box this information might help you with. So the HTB Tips section at the end of each article appears only when that box gets retired. This is a rule in HackTheBox’s Terms of Service, which I am a member of, and I am not willing to break – so don’t worry. Furthermore all HTB Tips are encapsulated in a spoiler container so they won’t show up unless clicked.
So, what is HackTheBox?
There is no better explanation than the one they have on their home page:
Hack The Box is an online platform allowing you to test your penetration testing skills and exchange ideas and methodologies with thousands of people in the security field.
How can I find the box that interests me?
At the main page of the knowledge base you can search the name of the box that you’re interested in and all available results will show up.
